Epoxy fiberglass pipe manufacturers explain the heat resistance grade of insulating materials
Due to the different raw materials of the products, the performance of the finished products of insulating materials is also different. Various grades of insulating materials are used in different industries!
The insulation performance of insulating materials is closely related to temperature. The higher the temperature, the worse the insulation performance of the insulating material. In order to ensure the insulation strength, each insulation material has an appropriate maximum allowable operating temperature. Below this temperature, it can be used safely for a long time, and it will age quickly if it exceeds this temperature. According to the degree of heat resistance, the insulating materials are divided into Y, A, E, B, F, H, C and other levels. The corresponding temperatures for each heat resistance level are as follows:
Class Y insulation temperature resistance 90℃, Class A insulation temperature resistance 105℃, Class E insulation temperature resistance 120℃, Class B insulation temperature resistance 130℃, Class F insulation temperature resistance 155℃, Class H insulation temperature resistance 180℃, Class C The insulation temperature is above 200℃.
Insulating materials also have temperature resistance above 1000°C, such as mica board, ceramic fiber board, etc. These high temperature resistant insulating materials are mostly used in high temperature furnaces such as intermediate frequency furnaces.
The main properties of insulating materials are: high temperature resistance and insulation strength!
