The power consumption keeps rising. The chiller may be out of order!
When the power consumption of the chiller continues to rise, the chiller may be malfunctioning. What should I do if power consumption continues to rise?
First, the compressor load increases.
The load of the compressor, when the normal and stable cooling capacity is renewed, the load of the compressor of the chiller is theoretically stable, but if the load of the compressor increases, the power consumption will definitely increase.
However, the increase in power consumption does not mean that the output of refrigeration will also show a positive increase, because the greater the load, the lower the working efficiency of the compressor, especially when the power consumption rises sharply.
Secondly, the condenser is not cleaned.
Regardless of whether it is air-cooled or water-cooled condenser, there will be problems with the condenser’s condensing effect. This is basically caused by dust, foreign matter, scale, etc. Once the condenser has not been cleaned for a long time, it is very likely that power consumption will increase. The problem eventually leads to increased compressor load, increased power consumption, and decreased cooling capacity and cooling efficiency. To be honest, condenser problems are very common.
To solve the problem of increased power consumption and decreased cooling capacity caused by the uncleaned condenser, in fact, the problem can be solved by directly cleaning the condenser. When necessary, you can also shut down the other parts of the chiller. Carry out cleaning, cleaning and maintenance, maintenance, and replacement to completely solve related problems.
