Analysis and description of high frequency induction heating and quenching machine applied to quenching heat treatment
High-frequency induction heating and quenching machines are generally used for heating metal parts and local quenching of the surface. The quenching layer of high frequency quenching generally has a depth of 2mm-6mm. Some workpieces suitable for high frequency quenching such as: diamond saw blades, drills, turning tools, carbide, gears, automobile universal joints, crankshafts, fasteners, etc. High frequency induction heating machine can be said to be the most ideal quenching heating machine for surface quenching of various metal parts and workpieces. Due to the proximity effect and the skin effect, the induction heating method is only a layer of the workpiece with a fixed penetration depth near the outer epidermis that directly generates heat, and there is little internal heat generation; if the heating time is controlled and the heating power is increased, it is direct heating The heat of the layer is too late to transfer to the inside of the workpiece, so that the requirements for surface quenching can be met.
