Repairing method of band-shaped cracks on inner wall of induction melting furnace lining
Repairing method of band-shaped cracks on inner wall of induction melting furnace lining
Problem 1: Band-shaped cracks (the weld seam of the furnace frame is more likely to occur regardless of vertical or horizontal) (or at a lower angle)
Possible Causes:
During the sintering process, the thick welding seam heats up faster than the crucible mold wall, the furnace lining expands locally, and the sharp corners and nearby particles affect each other
Remedy:
1. Smooth the surface of the crucible mold (mainly the weld) and remove rust.
2. Grind or chamfer the sharp corners at the bottom of the crucible mold.
