Refractory materials for electrolytic copper melting furnace

Electrolytic copper melting furnaces include reverberatory furnaces and shaft furnaces using heavy oil as fuel, as well as electric arc furnaces and induction furnaces. The shaft furnace for electrolytic copper melting has been widely used. The lower part of the furnace body is provided with one or several rows of burners, using liquefied petroleum gas as fuel. The vulnerable parts such as the burner area should generally be built with silicon carbide bricks, and the remaining parts can be lined with high-alumina bricks.
