What are the characteristics of the vertical caster ?

The main equipment of the vertical continuous casting machine from the tundish to the cutting station is arranged on a vertical line. The casting machine has a small footprint and compact equipment; the high-temperature casting blank has no bending deformation, and the surface of the casting blank and internal cracks are less; the inclusions in the molten steel are easy to float; the secondary cooling device and the nip roller are simple in structure and convenient for maintenance. However, the construction cost of such a casting machine is expensive; it can only be poured at a low speed, and the productivity is low; the static pressure of the molten steel is large, and it is easy to make the casting blank.
