Guide to the use of vacuum atmosphere furnace
The vacuum atmosphere furnace uses a vacuum system (made up of components such as vacuum pumps, vacuum measuring devices, vacuum valves, etc.) in the specific space of the furnace cavity to discharge part of the materials in the furnace cavity so that the pressure in the furnace cavity is less than a standard atmospheric pressure. , The space in the furnace cavity thus achieves a vacuum state.
Let’s take a look at the precautions for the use of vacuum atmosphere furnaces, as follows:
1. Don’t let the vacuum atmosphere furnace get damp to prevent electric leakage.
2. When using the stove, do not subject it to violent vibration, because the red hot stove wire is very brittle.
3. It is not advisable to put acids or alkaline chemicals or strong oxidants in the furnace, and it is not allowed to burn articles with explosion hazard in the furnace.
4. When putting the material into the furnace of the vacuum atmosphere furnace, do not touch the thermocouple, because the hot end of the thermocouple extending into the furnace is easy to break at high temperature.
5. When metals and other minerals are heated in a high-temperature furnace, they must be placed in a high-temperature-resistant porcelain vortex or porcelain dish, or be lined with refractory clay or asbestos plates to prevent adhesion to the furnace.
6. The temperature rise of the vacuum atmosphere furnace must be done slowly by gradually increasing the voltage. Be careful not to exceed the safe temperature, so as not to burn the heating wire.
