Improvement of capacitor connection failure in metal melting furnace
Improvement of capacitor connection failure in metal melting furnace
Faults frequently occur in the operation of the ọkụ na-agbaze ígwè. The specific manifestation is: overcurrent. Analysis: 70% of the faults are on the water-cooled capacitor. The reason is that the water-cooled capacitor is cooled by water, and the cooling water pipe is a plastic pipe. The capacitor current is large during operation. The connection part often leaks water and water seepage phenomenon is more frequent. The connection between the water-cooled capacitor and the busbar is soft. It will turn blue, black, poor contact, sparks, burn copper wire, burn out capacitors, cause over-current action and be forced to shut down the furnace. After analysis and research, I changed the copper wire that is afraid of water into a copper row connection. I repeated experiments on a single furnace and the result was very successful. After being certified by the workshop leader, two metal melting furnaces were modified, which greatly reduced the failure rate.
