Crucible preheating and drying treatment method for buffer modulated wave aluminum melting furnace

Before using the new crucible for the first time, it is best to preheat the graphite crucible for 4-24 hours

Before using the new crucible, if possible, put the wood in the crucible to burn for 2-4 hours, which is helpful for the dehumidification of the crucible.

1 The heating and preheating in the new crucible furnace is as follows:

Cracks appear in the crucible, mainly before 200 degrees. Special attention should be paid to not rushing, but slowly raising the temperature with a mid-range power. The crucible has an adaptive process. Keep the temperature at 150°C for at least 2 hours, thoroughly remove water vapor, rapid drying or heating at maximum power, which will easily cause the crucible to burst. The crucible conducts heat very quickly, and the preheating work is done. When the crucible reaches 300 degrees, it can quickly heat up, and it will not burst.

A. The room temperature rises to 100°C, the heating current is 15A, the empty pot is heated to 100°C without a lid, and the temperature is kept constant for 2h;

B. Raise the temperature from 100℃ to 200℃, the heating current is 20A, the empty pot is heated to 200℃ without a lid, and the temperature is constant for 2h;

C. Raise 200℃ to 300℃, heating current 30A, the empty crucible is heated to 300℃ without lid, constant temperature for 1h;

D. Raise the temperature from 300°C to 800°C, heat up at full load, cover the empty crucible and heat up to 800°C, keep the temperature constant for 1h;

At this time, put dry small aluminum scraps, and then slowly add aluminum ingots with a half pot of aluminum water. The above temperature refers to the temperature of the furnace (inside the furnace).

Note: The heating rate is up to 400℃/hour. The preheating means that the crucible must not be loaded until it turns red, and the crucible must be dry.

2 After stopping the furnace, scoop the soup as cleanly as possible, cover the furnace cover, and close the vents. To maintain the residual temperature.

3 After stopping the furnace, when using the crucible again, observe the following baking system.

If the furnace is shut down for 1-3 days, press the preheating A.B.C to remain unchanged, and heat the crucible until the crucible is red, and then add the dry fine aluminum material.

If the furnace has been shut down for more than 7 days, operate as the first preheating of a new pot.

4 When the new crucible is opened for inspection and not in use, it should be packaged in its original seal and should not be placed in the buffered modulation wave aluminum melting furnace to avoid damp. If the crucible is damp during use, the crucible should be moved by the furnace to preheat for 8-24 hours , And put the wood in the crucible to burn for 2-4 hours, and then preheat according to the above method.
