Medium frequency induction heater at the end of the drill rod
Medium frequency induction heater at the end of the drill rod
The drill rod is a hexagonal body. The dimensions are shown in the figure. The length is inconsistent, and there are lengths and shorts, but one end of the drill rod needs to be heated and then thickened. The material of the drill rod is brazing steel, the mass per meter length is 3.03kg, the heating temperature is 1100-1300℃, the productivity is 5-6 pieces/min, and the heating length at the end is 120mm
According to the above-mentioned technical requirements, it is determined to use intermediate frequency induction heating the end of the drill rod. The frequency of the intermediate frequency power supply is 2500Hz and the power is 100kW. The structure of the inductor is shown in the figure. The induction coil in the picture is wound with a square 15mm x 15mm x 2.5mm pure copper tube. The internal size of the coil is 84mm x 372mm, and the length of the coil is 180mm; heat insulation layer made of aluminum silicate fiber felt; heat-resistant bushing
It has the performance of high temperature resistance and rapid cold and rapid heat. There is an end plate at each end of the induction coil, which is made of asbestos cement board, and is tightened by 4 pieces of copper tie rods. There is a wooden backing plate under the induction coil to support the quality of the sensor. The internal size of the inductor is 32mm x 320mm, 10 pieces of drill rods can be placed, and the heating time is 100-120s. The loading of the drill rod and the end of the drill rod are heated to a temperature, and then the material is discharged and sent to the spade for forging. All of them are manually operated. The structure of the mid-frequency induction virtual furnace heated by the end of the drill rod is the simplest. As long as the sensor is placed on a workbench, it can work with the power supply and cooling water. All the costs are mainly used for the purchase of the mid-frequency power supply.
