Refractory bricks for ferronickel smelting furnace
Refractory bricks for ferronickel smelting furnace
The type of ferronickel smelting furnace is basically the same as that of copper smelting furnace, including blast furnace, reverberatory furnace, electric furnace and flash furnace.
The ferronickel smelting electric furnace is similar to the steel electric arc furnace, and the refractory bricks used are also similar. The furnace bottom and walls are made of dense magnesia bricks. The upper part of the furnace bottom is tamped with magnesia or dolomite sand ramming material to form a complete working layer at the furnace bottom; the furnace cover is made of high-quality high-alumina refractory bricks, which can Use aluminum-magnesia bricks or magnesia-chrome bricks or high-alumina refractory castables to cast the entire furnace cover or make large-scale prefabricated components for assembly.
There are two types of blast furnaces for ferronickel smelting: rectangular and circular. The circular blast furnace is similar to the iron-making blast furnace. The lining of the furnace body is made of dense clay bricks or high-alumina refractory bricks, the bottom and hearth walls are lined with carbon bricks, and the rest are made of magnesia chrome bricks; The bottom is made of magnesia bricks and the working layer is tamped with magnesia ramming material, and the lining material of the remaining parts is the same as that of the circular blast furnace.
Converter iron smelting generally adopts direct combined magnesia-chrome brick masonry, and other parts adopt clay bricks and high-alumina refractory bricks. It adopts aluminum carbon bricks, tuyere bricks, magnesia chrome bricks, high chromium fully synthetic magnesia chrome bricks and high chromium fused magnesia chrome bricks.
