How high is the temperature of the mica board?

Hard muscovite board (HP-5). The color is silvery white, long-term temperature resistance 500℃, short-term temperature resistance 850℃

The hardness of phlogopite board (HP-8) is higher than the high temperature resistance of (HP-5). The color is golden, with a long-term temperature resistance of 850°C and a short-term temperature resistance of 1050°C.

In general, it is the most cost-effective insulation material, with an average high temperature resistance of 1000°C. Even better, its breakdown voltage is 20KV/mm, which is rare.

Mica board is made of muscovite paper or phlogopite paper as raw materials, bonded with high-temperature silicone resin and baked and pressed to form a rigid plate-shaped insulating material. Mica board has excellent insulation properties and high temperature resistance, and can be used for a long time at a high temperature of 500-850 ℃. Mica plates are widely used in metallurgy, chemical and other industries, such as industrial frequency furnaces, intermediate frequency furnaces, electric arc furnaces, steelmaking furnaces, submerged arc furnaces, ferroalloy furnaces, electrolytic aluminum electrolytic cells, injection molding machine motor insulation, etc.
