How to choose refractory bricks and refractory castables for rotary kilns
The technology of using rotary kilns to treat hazardous waste has been maturely developed in China. Generally speaking, there are many types of hazardous wastes that need to be incinerated, and their composition is complex. Taking medical hazardous waste as an example, there are glass slides, Infusion bottles, injection tubes, surgical residues, animal test wastes, etc., therefore determine the complexity of the chemical composition of hazardous waste.
Hazardous waste is generally incinerated in a rotary kiln at a temperature of 700~1000°C.
I recommend using silica-molded bricks and mullite castables in the rotary kiln. The silica-molded bricks have the excellent characteristics of wear resistance, good thermal shock stability, and good corrosion resistance. It is a suitable product among the current mainstream products.
