What are the measures for high frequency induction hardening to reduce deformation?
What are the measures for high frequency induction hardening to reduce deformation?
1. Uniform heating and cooling. Taking shaft parts as an example, if the concentricity between the sensor and the heating workpiece is good, the heating will be uniform; the more uniform the cooling distance between the liquid sprayer and the quenching workpiece, the better, especially if the workpiece does not rotate, this is an even more important factor.
2. First, the quenching liquid with suitable additives can reduce deformation; increasing the concentration of polymer quenching liquid can reduce deformation.
3. On the basis of reaching the depth of the hardened layer, generally the lower the quenching temperature and the shorter the heating time, the smaller the quenching deformation will be.
