The characteristics of diffuse air-permeable bricks

The characteristics of the diffuse air-permeable brick are closely related to the special structure of the diffuser block. Its microporous structure can avoid the problem of steel in the slit of the slit air-permeable brick on the basis of ensuring sufficient air permeability. The air bubbles generated by the diffused air-permeable bricks are small, many and uniform, so that the stirring effect produced by the bottom blowing argon gas is relatively good. Therefore, diffuse air-permeable bricks are favored by many steel manufacturers.

The internal structure of the diffuse air-permeable brick is not complicated. The internal bottom truncated platform (slit alarm device) and the core structure dispersion block are pre-made, and then shaped like ordinary slit air-permeable bricks. The production process is complicated and the craftsmanship is very demanding. In order to ensure the long life of the dispersive block, the dispersive air-permeable bricks are made of high-grade synthetic materials with high strength, high refractoriness and excellent corrosion resistance.

It can be seen from the microstructure and the simulation phenomenon of air blowing in the water that the air bubbles generated by the diffused air-permeable brick are small, uniform and dense, which not only meets the requirements of air permeability, makes it easier to stir molten steel, but also makes the inclusions float. Improve the refining effect. The permeable core of the diffuse permeable brick will not have the phenomenon that the slit permeable brick often clamps the steel in the slit, so as to avoid the situation of impermeable bottom blowing or poor air permeability.

During the use of the slit ventilating brick, cold argon is continuously blown from the tail pipe, and the working surface of the ventilating brick is in direct contact with the high-temperature molten steel, which will generate a large temperature gradient, so that the thermal stress on the working surface is particularly large. Coupled with the inherent rapid cooling and heating effects, it is easy to cause cross-sections near the working face. The diffuse block of the diffuse ventilating brick has many microporous channels and the temperature gradient is small, so the diffuse ventilating brick is not prone to cross-section of the brick core surface. Another feature of the diffuse air-permeable brick is that it has an alarm function. The alarm device is a slit design. It is easy to observe the slit phenomenon in the later period of use. The slit is the offline ladle, which is safer than the slit air-permeable brick.

Diffusion air-permeable bricks have many characteristics. Compared with slit air-permeable bricks, they have many advantages. For steel manufacturers, which type of air-permeable bricks to choose depends on the type of refining, process flow, etc. Firstfurnace@gmil.com has been producing diffuse ventilating bricks, slit ventilating bricks, and split ventilating bricks for 18 years. According to the characteristics of steel manufacturers, the ventilating bricks are designed to meet the production needs of steel mills and achieve the purpose of promoting production with technology and winning the future through innovation.
