万能弧砖是用作钢水包的内衬使用，有粘土质和高铝质两种材质，就目前市场情况来看，高铝万能弧砖用的还是比较多的，高铝万能弧砖有三级、二级、一级三种，当然铝含量越高的高铝砖品质越好，二级高铝砖用的比例在增多。

高铝万能弧耐火砖的性能是使用寿命长，比粘土砖要高出2倍。如果使用厂家，消耗量低的话，使用寿命会更长。万能弧砖在抗炉渣和钢水的侵蚀性能强，因需圆形砌筑，万能弧耐火砖由于两端有弧度，在施工时可将砖缝控制在1毫米，通过移动调节弧度。
