Schematic diagram of a reciprocating induction heating furnace. This induction heating method is periodic. When a blank enters the induction heating furnace, power is supplied to the inductor. The blank reciprocates in the induction heating furnace and passes through the inductor to be heated to the required heating temperature, and then stops. Supply power to the inductor and send the blank out of the furnace, and then enter a cold blank. The length of the inductor used for heating is relatively short, while the blank is relatively long. It is pressed on the spokes and uses the forward and reverse rotation of the spokes to drive the blanks to reciprocate by friction. Since the inductor has an axial electromagnetic force when it is energized, if the electromagnetic force is greater than the frictional force, this reciprocating heating method will not be established. Because the reciprocating speed of the blank cannot be controlled, the uniformity of the heating temperature of the blank cannot be guaranteed. This reciprocating induction heating furnace is suitable for heating blanks with a large diameter and a large length. Although the blank is heavy, its mass is supported by multiple rollers. Due to the large diameter of the blank, longer heating time, and multiple reciprocating movements of the blank, it is beneficial to reduce the radial temperature difference of the blank.
