Seamless steel pipe surface hardening equipment

Seamless steel pipes can be quenched directly, but this also depends on the diameter, wall thickness and workpiece length of the seamless pipe to be quenched! If the wall thickness of the steel pipe is too thin to be less than 2mm, it cannot be quenched. For steel pipe quenching, medium frequency induction quenching is generally used!

The characteristics of medium frequency induction hardening:

1. Fast heating speed.

2. After quenching, the surface layer of the precision seamless steel pipe can get very fine cryptocrystalline martensite with a slightly higher hardness (2~3HRC). Low brittleness and high fatigue strength.

3. The precision seamless steel pipe treated by this process is not easy to oxidize and decarburize, and even some workpieces can be directly assembled and used after treatment.

4. The hardened layer is deep, easy to control and operate, easy to realize mechanization and automation.

5. Induction surface heating and quenching.
