How long is the service life of the induction melting furnace?

From the perspective of use, the average service life of a general steel shell induction melting furnace is about ten years, while the life of an aluminum shell is only half of that of a steel shell furnace. So why? It is also due to material problems, and because of the inherent properties of aluminum shells, aluminum is usually oxidized extremely severely at high temperatures, and this oxidation reaction will cause metal toughness fatigue. We often see that some aluminum induction melting furnaces that have been used for only a year or so are already in dilapidated conditions at the foundry site. However, the service life of the steel shell furnace is much longer than that of the aluminum shell furnace due to less magnetic leakage.
