How to choose the thyristor for induction melting furnace?
How to choose the thyristor for induction melting furnace?
The KP1000A1800V and KK1200A1800V used in the original thyristor of the induction melting furnace have burned two inverter thyristors, and then can I replace the two KK1500A1800V? Now that the high current burns through the inverter thyristor, is it possible to replace the thyristor without following the original specifications?
It is generally possible to replace the thyristor not in accordance with the original specifications. The replacement of the new thyristor must be larger than the original thyristor. What is the current required to select the thyristor?
Reasons for burning through the thyristor:
1. Overcurrent, causing burn through the thyristor,
2. Lack of water causes the thyristor to burn through.
3. There is a problem with the circuit, which causes more burning through the thyristor
4. The blockage of the water pipe causes more burn through of the thyristor
5 The ramming material of the induction furnace is not well laid, and the insulation performance is not good. The furnace ring of the inductor ignites the furnace shell.
