The difference between choosing steel shell and aluminum shell for induction melting furnace
The difference between choosing steel shell and aluminum shell for induction melting furnace
1. The steel shell furnace is sturdy and durable, beautiful and generous, especially the large-capacity furnace body (steel shell furnace body is generally recommended for more than 1.5-2 tons) requires a strong rigid structure. From the perspective of the safety of the tilting furnace, it should be selected as much as possible Steel shell furnace.
2. The yoke made of silicon steel sheet unique to the steel shell furnace shields and emits the magnetic field lines generated by the induction coil, reduces magnetic flux leakage, improves thermal efficiency, increases output, and saves about 5%-8%.
3. The existence of the steel shell furnace cover reduces the heat loss and also improves the safety of the equipment.
4. The steel shell furnace has a long service life, and aluminum is oxidized more seriously at high temperature, which causes fatigue of the metal’s toughness. At the foundry site, it is often seen that the shell of the aluminum shell furnace that has been used for about one year is in bad condition, and the steel shell furnace has a long service life than the aluminum shell furnace because of less magnetic flux leakage.
5. The safety performance of the steel shell furnace is much better than that of the aluminum shell furnace. The aluminum shell is easily deformed due to high temperature and heavy pressure during smelting, and the safety is poor. The steel shell furnace uses hydraulic tilting furnace, which is safe and reliable.
6. Steel shell furnace. Energy-saving, high-efficiency, low operating cost: The thermal efficiency of the electric furnace is not less than 80%, which is 3-5% higher than that of general equipment; it saves more than 60kwh.
