Use and precautions of buffer modulation wave aluminum melting furnace
1 The operator of the buffer modulated wave aluminum melting furnace must understand the structure and working characteristics of the buffer modulated wave aluminum melting furnace and its auxiliary equipment (control cabinet instruments, etc.), as well as the arrangement of electrical piping.
2 Carry out an insulation resistance test before turning on the power.
3 The operator should always check the usage of the crucible and thermocouple protection tube, carry out maintenance, and replace it regularly according to the usage.

5 Precautions for the use of silicon nitride thermocouple protection tube are as follows:
5.1 The thermocouple protection tube should be stored in a dry environment to avoid moisture.
5.2 Before immersing in the molten aluminum, hold it above the molten aluminum to preheat for a short time.
5.3 During the refining of molten aluminum, the thermocouple for measuring molten aluminum should be taken out to prevent damage.
5.4 Be careful when adding liquid materials, and the molten aluminum should not exceed the top of the protective tube, otherwise it will cause a short circuit of the thermocouple wire.
5.5 After using for a period of time, you will find that if aluminum/aluminum slag adheres to the liquid surface of the aluminum liquid, when the thermocouple is still hot, you can carefully remove it by scraping. When immersing again, be careful not to subject the thermocouple to thermal shock.
5.6 If the foundry uses immersive refining agents (chlorine salt, fluoride salt), especially when the refining agent exists when aluminum is melted into a liquid state, the foundry should ensure that the refining agent is removed from the liquid surface as soon as possible after the refining is completed. If the refining agent stays on the liquid surface for too long, it will damage the thermocouple protection tube and the crucible.
