What is the elastic effect of PTFE polytetrafluoroethylene board
PTFE polytetrafluoroethylene board has excellent arc resistance. PTFE has excellent chemical stability and is hardly corroded by any chemical substances. Many highly corrosive and oxidizing chemicals have little effect, so they are called the king of plastics. The performance characteristics of physical and mechanical properties, PTFE has a high relative density and hardly absorbs water. Tough and inelastic. The friction factor is very small and the lubrication performance is excellent. The static friction factor of PTFE is smaller than the dynamic friction factor, and the friction factor remains almost unchanged from ultra-low temperature to melting point. However, PTFE has low hardness and is easily worn by other materials. If a PTFE film can be formed on the surface of the abrasive, the wear of PTFE can be reduced to a considerable extent. The thermal stability of PTFE is extremely prominent in engineering plastics. From 200°C to the melting point, the decomposition rate is extremely slow, and the amount of decomposition is also extremely small. Heating at 200°C for one month, the decomposition amount is less than one millionth, which is negligible. PTFE is not brittle at -250°C.
