The price of aluminum chrome bricks varies from place of production to different prices. Aluminum chrome bricks are high-alumina bricks with Al2O3 as the main component and a small amount of Cr2O3. Sintered bricks using aluminum chromium slag as raw materials are also aluminum chromium bricks, also known as aluminum chromium slag bricks. Aluminum-chrome bricks are more corrosion resistant than high-alumina bricks, and aluminum-chrome slag bricks also have the characteristics of good high-temperature mechanical properties….

Aluminum chromium bricks are made of high alumina bauxite, and the fine powder is added with chromite or a by-product of ferroalloy plants-aluminum chromium slag. After reasonable particle size grading, water and pulp waste liquid are mixed in a milling machine, then shaped on a brick press, dried and fired at a temperature above 1400°C. Aluminum chromium slag bricks are made of aluminum chromium slag and crushed to less than 3mm. The same raw material is used to prepare fine powder and perform particle size grading. Add industrial phosphoric acid or paper pulp waste liquid as binding agent in the mixer for mixing. Use a brick press to make bricks, and then fire them at a temperature of 1500°C to 1600°C after drying.

Aluminum chrome bricks can be used as steel drum lining bricks, and have a longer service life than high alumina bricks that do not contain Cr2O3. Aluminum-chromium slag bricks are used in the tuyere area of copper-nickel smelting furnaces and are more resistant to corrosion than magnesia-chromium bricks. Due to its high temperature strength, it can also be used in the high temperature parts of the kiln, such as the wall and burner of the tunnel kiln. The disadvantage of aluminum chromium slag bricks is poor thermal shock resistance. When used in areas with temperature fluctuations, they often have peeling and cracking.
