The advantages of polyimide tape are mainly summarized in five points: heat resistance, moisture resistance, dielectric strength, solvent and chemical resistance, and moldability.

1. High heat resistance: two polyimide tapes wrapped with two layers of 0.075mm thick and coated with F46 plastic, of which magnet wires with a fluoroplastic layer thickness of 0.025mm are twisted together, at a temperature of 264°C, It can reach a life span of 20,000 hours, and the heat-resistant temperature can reach 264°C. Since this temperature is close to the melting point of the fluoroplastic layer, the solid temperature is only 240°C.

2. High moisture resistance: Since the insulating layer is uniform and there is no pinholes, it will not be short-circuited under supermarket conditions. It also has high insulation performance after being immersed in water for 24 hours.

3. High dielectric strength: use 0.075mm thick polyimide tape with F46 plastic, in which the thickness of the fluoroplastic layer is 0.025mm, 52% of the magnet wire is laminated with one layer, and the breakdown voltage is more than 6Kv, which not only improves The withstand voltage level between turns is improved, and the withstand voltage level is also improved.

4. High solvent and chemical resistance: This is determined by the nature of polyimide tape and fluoroplastics, and due to the good sealing performance of the insulating layer, the copper conductor will not come into contact with external substances. There will be no damage to the insulating layer of the enameled wire by the solvent during the common dipping process.

5. Good formability: The polyimide tape with good extension performance can make the insulated wire eye into various shapes without cracking and destroying the insulating layer; it will not be damaged during bending, especially the bent nose of the armature coil conductor. Cracking of the insulation layer will occur.
