Summary of common faults of high temperature experimental resistance furnace

Summary of common faults of high temperature experimental resistance furnace

1. High temperature experimental resistance furnace does not heat up

(1)The power supply voltage is normal, the controller is working normally, the ammeter has no display, and the common fault is that the electric furnace wire is broken, which can be checked with a multimeter and replaced with the electric furnace wire of the same specification.

(2) The power supply voltage is normal and the controller cannot work. The internal switches, fuses and furnace door travel switches in the controller can be overhauled. If the furnace door of the electric furnace is not closed and the controller cannot work, please refer to the controller manual for troubleshooting methods of the controller.

(3)Power supply failure: it works normally when it is not connected to the electric furnace, and it does not work normally when it is connected to the electric furnace. The controller makes a continuous clicking sound. The reason is that the voltage drop of the power supply line is too large or the socket and the control switch are not in good contact. Adjust or replace.

2. High temperature experiment resistance furnace heating up slowly

(1)The power supply voltage is normal and the controller is working normally. The common fault is that some electric furnace wires are disconnected, which can be checked with a multimeter and replaced with the same specifications of the electric furnace wires.

(2)The power supply voltage is normal, but the working voltage of the electric furnace is low. The reason is that the voltage drop of the power supply line is too large or the socket and the control switch are not in good contact, which can be adjusted and replaced.

(3) The power supply voltage is lower than the normal voltage, and the heating power is insufficient when the electric furnace is working. The three-phase power supply lacks phase, which can be adjusted and repaired.

3. Abnormal temperature of resistance furnace in high temperature experiment

(1)The thermocouple of the electric furnace is not inserted into the furnace, causing the furnace temperature to run out of control.

(2)The index number of the thermocouple is inconsistent with the index number of the temperature control instrument, which will cause the furnace temperature to be inconsistent with the temperature displayed by the temperature control instrument.
