What size transformer should a 1 ton induction melting furnace be equipped with?

The first technical parameters to be understood before the induction melting furnace is equipped with a transformer:

1. First determine whether the induction melting furnace is 6-pulse or 12-pulse.

2. Secondly, determine the power of 1 ton induction melting furnace equipment, which is mostly 750KW-800KW in China.

3. Determine the voltage level, the primary voltage is generally 10KV, 6kv, 35kv; the secondary voltage is generally 400V, 575V, 660V or 750V, 850V.

Conclusion: 800KVA or 1000KVA transformer should be selected for ordinary rectifier transformer.
