Application characteristics of epoxy glass fiber tube:

The epoxy glass fiber tube is made of alkali-free electrical glass fiber cloth impregnated with epoxy resin, and is baked and hot-pressed in a forming mold. The round rod has a high mechanical function. Dielectric function and good machinability. It can be used as insulating structural parts in electrical equipment, humid environment and transformer oil.

Application characteristics of epoxy glass fiber tube:

 

1. Various forms. Various resins, curing agents and modifier systems can almost meet the requirements of various applications, and their scale can range from extremely low viscosity to high melting point solids.

 

2. Convenient curing. By using different curing agents, the epoxy resin system can be cured at a temperature ranging from 0 to 180°C.

 

3. Strong adhesion. There are polar hydroxyl groups and ether bonds in the molecular chain of epoxy resin, which makes it have high adhesion to various substances. Epoxy resin has lower shortening and internal stress during curing, which also helps to improve bonding strength.

 

4. Low shortening. The reaction between epoxy resin and curing agent is carried out by direct addition reaction or ring-opening polymerization of epoxide in the resin molecule, without water or other volatile by-products. Compared with unsaturated polyester resins and phenolic resins, they show very low shortening (less than 2%).

 

5. Mechanical function. The cured epoxy system has excellent mechanical functions.
