Why is the area around the induction melting furnace dry

Dryness around the furnace body: the steel tapping pit in front of the furnace, the bottom of the furnace and the ground at the back of the furnace shall not be wet or oily. It is best to be covered with a layer of dry sand. In case the molten steel touches the moist ground, water vapor will be generated sharply between the molten steel and the ground and cause an explosion.
