Introduction to the advantages of magnesia carbon bricks

Magnesia-carbon bricks are made of high-purity magnesia, fused magnesia, graphite powder as raw materials, medium-temperature asphalt as a binder, and high-pressure molding.

This product of magnesia carbon brick has the characteristics of good thermal stability, high softening temperature under load and high flexural strength at high temperature, and strong resistance to alkaline slag erosion.

Magnesia carbon brick is one of the main refractory materials used in current steelmaking furnaces. It is mainly used for the lining of the slag line of converters and electric furnaces and the ladle refined outside the furnace. Because its performance is better than that of magnesia brick and tar dolomite brick, it can greatly increase the furnace life when used in steelmaking furnaces.
