What is the classification of refractory bricks?

According to its raw material composition, it can be divided into five categories, namely: silica-alumina refractory bricks, alkaline refractory bricks, carbon-containing refractory bricks, zirconium-containing refractory bricks, and heat-insulating refractory bricks.

According to the PH value, it can be divided into

(1)The acidic refractories are mainly composed of silica, which are commonly used in silica bricks and clay bricks.

(2) Neutral refractories are mainly composed of alumina, chromium oxide or carbon;

(3) Alkaline refractories are mainly composed of magnesium oxide and calcium oxide, and magnesia bricks are commonly used.
