Different muffle furnace heating elements adapt to different heating temperatures. Generally speaking, the muffle furnace whose temperature is below 1100°C is heated by resistance wire, the muffle furnace whose temperature is below 1300°C is heated by silicon carbide rods, and the muffle furnace whose temperature is above 1300°C is heated by silicon molybdenum rods.
The muffle furnace whose working temperature is below 900℃ for a long time cannot use silicon molybdenum rods, which will cause low temperature oxidation of silicon molybdenum rods.
