What are the characteristics of epoxy pipe application?

What are the characteristics of epoxy pipe application?

The first is strong adhesion. Epoxy pipe has good adhesion to various materials. This is because the epoxy resin used in the epoxy pipe has lower shortening and internal stress during the curing process, which is also conducive to its overall adhesive strength.

The second is diversity. Various epoxy resins, curing agents and modifier systems can meet the requirements of various application methods, and the planning range can also range from extremely low viscosity to high melting point solids.

Third, good mechanical properties. Cured epoxy resin has very good mechanical properties.

The shortening of the fourth cycle is also very low. The reaction between the epoxy resin and the curing agent is carried out by direct addition reaction or ring-opening polymerization of epoxy groups in the resin molecule. No water or other volatile by-products are released. Compared with unsaturated polyester resin and phenolic resin, it has a low shrinkage rate during curing.

The fifth is convenience. By choosing different curing agents, the epoxy resin system of the epoxy pipe can be cured at 0~180°C.
