Roll induction hardening machine

Roll induction hardening machine

The heat treatment of cold-rolled work rolls usually adopts quenching & low temperature tempering, quenching methods such as induction surface quenching and integral heating quenching. The purpose is to improve the wear resistance and peeling resistance of the roll. The hot roll usually works in a high temperature environment of 700-800 °C, and the surface needs to withstand the strong friction of the rolling material and repeated heating, as well as thermal fatigue due to the large change in the cooling temperature of the cooling water. After the development of hot rolls, high-chromium cast iron to semi-high-speed steel and high-speed steel were selected for their materials.
