How to use high-frequency induction heating equipment for spherical quenching?

First, single-turn or multi-turn high-frequency induction heating equipment can be used to quench the inner surface of the circular hole.

Second, a U-shaped coil made of copper tube can be used and a magnetic conductor can be installed in the coil, and the surface quenching heat treatment of the inner hole can be performed by changing the distribution state of the magnetic field lines, so that the high-frequency current is distributed from the inside to the outside to improve the magnetic permeability.

Third, copper wire can be wound into a circular induction coil to quench the inner surface of the circular hole. For example, for an inner hole with a diameter of 20MM and a thickness of 8MM, the induction coil should be wound into a spiral shape with a copper wire with a diameter of 2MM, and the number of turns is 7.5 The spacing between the coils is 2.7-3.2MM, and both the coil and the workpiece are placed in clean water.

When the current passes through the induction coil, a magnetic field is generated around it. When the inner hole of the workpiece is heated and the surface reaches a certain temperature, the surrounding water vaporizes into a layer of steam film, which isolates the workpiece from the water, and the temperature of the workpiece surface rapidly rises to quenching. The required temperature, after the power is cut off, the steam film disappears quickly, and the workpiece is rapidly cooled, but the induction coil does not generate heat in the water all the time.
