How to judge the lack of refrigerant in the chiller?
How to judge the lack of refrigerant in the chiller?
Three methods are used to judge whether the refrigerant is insufficient, and then look for other reasons.
1. Current method: Use a clamp-on ammeter to monitor the working current of the outdoor unit (including compressor and fan current). If the current value is basically in line with the rated current on the nameplate, it means that the refrigerant is suitable; if it is too much below the rated value, it will be refrigerated Too little agent needs to be added.
2. Gauge pressure method: The pressure on the low pressure side of the refrigeration system is related to the amount of refrigerant. Connect a pressure gauge to the low-pressure valve, and the air conditioner is turned on for refrigeration. At the beginning, the gauge pressure will drop. After running for more than 10 minutes, it is normal if the gauge pressure is stable at about 0.49Mpa.
3. Observation method: Observe the condensation of the high-pressure pipe near the high-pressure valve of the outdoor unit and the low-pressure pipe near the low-pressure valve. Generally, the high-pressure pipe is dew, and it is relatively cold. If the low-pressure pipe also condenses and has a cool feeling, the temperature is about 3°C higher than that of the high-pressure pipe, indicating that the refrigerant is suitable. If the low-pressure pipe does not condense and there is a sense of temperature, it means that the amount of refrigerant is insufficient and needs to be added; if the low-pressure pipe condenses, or every time the compressor starts for about 1 minute, the low-pressure pipe frosts and then turns to dew, it means Too much refrigerant needs to be let go.
