Remove excess water from the evaporator of another unit to reduce the pressure drop. This mode of operation is to artificially increase the operating current of the cold water pump, wasting power resources.

Misunderstanding 2: The water inlet and outlet valves on the evaporator of the inactive unit are not closed first when starting up, causing a part of the chilled water to flow away from the inactive chiller evaporator, which affects the cooling effect of the chiller under working conditions.
