Principle of low-blowing argon induction melting furnace
Principle of low-blowing argon induction melting furnace
A. The principle of low-blowing argon induction melting furnace:
The heating equipment of the low-blowing argon induction melting furnace is a familiar induction melting furnace, and it is only suitable for medium-frequency melting furnaces. Induction melting furnace smelting is a remelting process. Various inclusions will be brought in during the remelting process of scrap metal, and the quality of molten steel cannot be guaranteed, resulting in gas inclusions and oxide inclusions in castings, reducing the quality of castings. Therefore, this problem can be solved by blowing argon at the bottom of the buried induction melting furnace. The ventilation equipment is pre-buried under the lining material at the bottom of the induction melting furnace, and the argon gas is sent to the permeable brick through the pipeline, and the argon gas will enter the melt uniformly through the furnace lining material. The ventilation equipment at the bottom of the induction melting furnace-gas diffuser is formed by hydraulic high-temperature baking of refractory materials. To optimize airflow and resist metal penetration, the gas passes through it to create uniform micro-bubbles (micron scale).
B. Configuration of low-blowing argon induction melting furnace:
1. Intermediate frequency melting furnace 2. Gas diffuser 3. Argon gas bottle 4. Argon gas flow controller
C. Features of low-blowing argon induction melting furnace:
1. Make the temperature and chemical composition of the molten metal more uniform
2. Make the slag inclusions and bubbles in the molten metal float to the surface and play a purifying role.
3. Pre-buried type, no direct contact with the melt, very high safety;
4. The generated bubbles are extremely small and have strong adsorption capacity.
5. The gas diffuser can be reused, reducing the frequency of replacement and improving production efficiency.
D. Argon delivery device for low-blowing argon induction melting furnace:
Argon gas delivery device for low-blowing argon induction melting furnace. It can ensure the quantitative and stable supply of argon gas to the induction melting furnace, and can prevent the damage of the pressure regulator. This advanced air supply equipment includes air intake, a 91.5 cm long stainless steel hose and an air pressure gauge, a flow meter to ensure accurate and stable air supply to the vent plug.
