1. Set the temperature of the temperature control instrument to stabilize the temperature of the muffle furnace at this temperature;

2. Use a calibrated millivoltmeter to detect the output potential of the thermocouple;

3. According to the type of thermocouple, refer to the thermocouple temperature-potential comparison table of the model, such as (K-type nickel-chromium-nickel silicon) to find out the temperature value;

4. Measure the ambient temperature and perform cold junction compensation, that is, the table temperature plus the ambient temperature, which is approximately the actual temperature of the furnace.
