Steel melting furnace

The steel melting furnace is a steel melting induction furnace that uses a 200~2500Hz intermediate frequency power supply for induction heating, with a power of 200kw-20000KW. According to the tonnage, it is divided into: small, medium, and extra large steel melting furnaces.

Steel melting furnaces are mainly used for steel induction furnaces, which are special induction furnaces for casting, induction furnace steelmaking and melting steel.

The complete steel melting furnace consumes about 550±5% kW.h/t per ton of molten steel. The equipment includes an intermediate frequency power supply cabinet, compensation capacitors, furnace bodies (two), water-cooled cables, and furnace tilting mechanism. The furnace body is composed of four parts: the furnace shell, induction coil, furnace lining, and tilting mechanism. The furnace shell is made of non-magnetic materials. The induction coil is a spiral cylinder made of a rectangular hollow tube. Cooling water is passed through the tube during smelting. . The copper bar from the coil is connected with the water-cooled cable, and the furnace lining is close to the induction coil, which is made of quartz sand and sintered. The tilting of the furnace body is directly rotated by the tilting mechanism to pour molten iron.
