Several misunderstandings in purchasing high-frequency hardening machines
High-frequency hardening machine refers to machine tool equipment that uses induction heating power supply for hardening process. It has the advantages of high precision, good reliability, time and labor saving. It is mainly composed of bed, sliding table, clamping and rotating mechanism, cooling system, quenching liquid circulation system, electrical control system, etc. High-frequency hardening machines are generally single-station (double-station quenching machines can be used for small diameter workpieces). There are two types of high-frequency quenching machines, vertical and horizontal in structure. Users can choose quenching machine tools according to the quenching process. For special parts or special processes, special quenching machine tools can be designed and manufactured according to the heating process requirements. There are several common misunderstandings in the purchase of quenching machine tools, as long as they are manifested in the following aspects:
1. “Look at the power, not the frequency”. If the diameter of the workpiece we need to be heated is greater than Φ60 mm, then we recommend buying intermediate frequency equipment when purchasing, otherwise it will appear in the heating of the workpiece
At the same time, it causes burning on the outside and black cores inside, which leads to a decrease in the life of the mold or even damage, which greatly increases the cost and reduces the efficiency of the equipment.
2. “Look at the output, not the input.” Because the power and power consumption of the equipment were not noticed during the procurement process, buying an electric tiger made it affordable and unable to make ends meet in an embarrassing situation.
3. “Just look at the type, not the power.” Many companies that produce and sell quenching equipment confuse the input current 120A with the input power 120KVA, collectively referred to as the 120 machine. The customer only discovers its actual power after the quenching machine is bought back.
The rate is only 80KVA, and the gains outweigh the losses.
When purchasing, you must consider thoroughly so that you can choose the quenching machine tool that suits you.
