The advantages and disadvantages of fused white steel jade and fused brown corundum
The advantages and disadvantages of fused white steel jade and fused brown corundum:
The corundum-based refractory raw material made by the fused corundum fused method has a high content of alumina. The corundum grains are complete and coarse. High chemical stability, high-grade alumina or high-alumina clinker is used as raw material to melt in the arc Shanghai, remove the residual material, and cool the frit. There are two main varieties of fused brown corundum and fused white corundum. When high alumina bauxite is used to produce brown corundum, high alumina bauxite needs to be pre-fired before electrofusion to remove the adsorbed water and structural water in it to speed up the electrofusion process and reduce power consumption. In order to fully reduce the fusion process and effectively remove impurities, it is necessary to add an appropriate amount of anthracite and iron powder to the raw materials. When alumina produces white corundum, because of the high purity of the raw materials, there is no need to use reduction methods to separate impurities. The alumina content of fused brown fused alumina is greater than 90%, and the alumina content of white fused alumina is greater than 98%. The performance of fused corundum is basically the same as that of sintered alumina, but some fused corundum has a higher apparent porosity.
