What is the difference between muffle furnace heating and solid phase microwave heating?

The muffle furnace is heated by the silicon carbide rods inside. The silicon carbide rods have resistance and will conduct electricity after being energized, thereby generating heat. Microwave heating relies on the energy of the microwave itself to be transferred to the heated material.
