Crankshaft quenching induction hardening machine tool technology
Crankshaft quenching induction hardening machine tool technology
Crankshaft quenching inductors, especially semi-ring type inductors are expensive to manufacture, so how to reduce the cost, improve efficiency and increase service life has become the main goal.
A fixed (static) crankshaft quenching inductor has been developed. Its characteristics are: the workpiece does not rotate when heating, energy saving, high efficiency, and long life of the inductor.
According to the productivity and workpiece structure, there are several equipment technologies that can be applied to the following four main operations:
1. Spray around the quenching machine tool A special spray device brings protective gas to the workpiece to be quenched. It can be connected to the gas or quenching fluid circuit. When in use, a containment device must be added to reduce the area that needs gas.
2. Glove-type operating box for quenching machine tools For low-volume and semi-automatic production methods, the glove-type operating box solution is an economical and simple solution. The simplified version of the plenum chamber has long been proved to be suitable for protecting large, medium and small composite workpieces. The structure of this box can be customized according to actual needs. It is usually sealed during processing. The system is as simple as a semi-open container system to reduce fouling.
3. Inflatable chamber of quenching machine tool This equipment is designed for large workpieces and requires a complete and fully enclosed working area. The loading and unloading of workpieces from the outside requires an automation solution and needs to be adapted to large parts. In order to reduce the interference of the rotation of the rotary table and the airflow generated by the scanning table or other mechanical devices, an additional local sprinkler can be added to the system.
