1. 2. Axial tooth scanning: gear laser quenching Axial tooth scanning is a scanning method that uses a broadband laser beam to laser quench gears. Broadband laser beam scanning often uses multiple beams to form a broadband, and the laser beam moves and scans along the gear axis, and one tooth surface can be scanned at a time. After rotating by one tooth pitch, the laser beam scans another tooth surface, and thus scans one by one until all the tooth surfaces of the entire gear are scanned. Most domestically, a single-beam broadband laser is used to scan the tooth surface, and one tooth surface is scanned once or twice, and the teeth are divided one by one.
