4. The compensation wire and the thermocouple are connected reversely or mismatched, or the insulation is reduced. Basically these four reasons.

Reason 3: Adjust the measuring position of the thermocouple until the measured temperature value is accurate.

Reason 4. Compensation wire, if the muffle furnace wire is connected reversely, just correct it. If it is not matched or the insulation is reduced, then a new compensating wire must be replaced.
