How to choose a dust cover for an induction melting furnace?
How to choose a dust cover for an induction melting furnace?
1. The principle of induction melting furnace dust cover:
The induction melting furnace dust cover is installed on the induction melting furnace platform through a fixed base. The intermediate frequency induction melting furnace fumes are sucked away through the foundry fan and pipes. During the heat preservation and heating period of the induction melting furnace, the dust cover of the induction melting furnace is covered above the intermediate frequency induction melting furnace, which is the most favorable way of dust removal; when feeding, the rotating arm of the dust cover of the induction melting furnace rotates at a certain angle under the action of the oil cylinder, which can absorb large Part of the smoke and dust; when pouring molten iron, the dust cover of the induction melting furnace rotates a small angle through another oil cylinder to absorb part of the smoke and dust. The dust removal channel of the induction melting furnace is connected to the outer connecting pipe coaxial with the turning shaft of the furnace body through the connecting transition channel, and is turned over synchronously with the furnace body of the intermediate frequency induction melting furnace. Therefore, this induction melting furnace dust hood is also called tornado dust hood or cyclone dust hood by industry insiders.
2. Selection of dust cover for induction melting furnace:
2.1. The induction melting furnace adopts the installation structure on the intermediate frequency electric furnace platform, which has good rigidity, reliable operation, convenient disassembly and assembly, and will not cause deformation of the electric furnace body; the rotating torque of the dust hood is small, which avoids deformation and reduces the load of the oil cylinder; the hydraulic system of the dust hood is stable Reliable and convenient operation, avoiding the danger caused by the malfunction of the oil cylinder; the overall dust removal effect is good.
2.2. The dust cover of the induction melting furnace is made of steel plate. The cover body is turned hydraulically controlled, and it can be opened and closed by turning back and forth. The turning angle is 0-85°; the turning direction of the cover body is controlled by a solenoid valve. The cover is embedded with a heat preservation furnace cover (without refractory material) to prevent molten iron from splashing and thermal radiation.
2.3. The dust hood of the induction melting furnace has a simple structure, and can be turned back and forth at will when charging, pouring molten iron and measuring temperature, effectively collecting melting smoke and dust, maintaining heat preservation and preventing molten iron from splashing and heat radiation. When the electric furnace dumps molten iron, the furnace cover does not affect the lifting of the molten iron ladle by the crane hook. (The hydraulic system control and piping are the responsibility of the buyer)
