Production characteristics of induction heating furnaces in forging workshops

1. According to the temperature of the metal blank heated by the induction heating furnace in the forging workshop, the forging workshop can be divided into hot forging, warm forging and cold forging. In this way, the temperature of the induction heating furnace for heating the metal blank ranges from 750°C to 1200°C, and the induction heating furnace automatically heats the metal blank workpiece and transfers it to the forging hammer according to the heating temperature and heating section.

2. The blanks and forgings heated by the induction heating furnace in the forging workshop continuously emit a large amount of radiant heat (the forgings still have a relatively high temperature at the end of forging), and the operators are affected by thermal radiation.

3. The high temperature of the blank workpiece during the heating process of the intermediate frequency electric furnace in the forging workshop may cause work accidents.

4. The workpiece heated by the induction heating furnace in the forging workshop is transported to the forging equipment such as air hammer, steam hammer, friction press, etc. The impact force is emitted during work, which is easy to be damaged suddenly (such as the sudden break of the piston rod of the forging hammer) , causing serious injury.

5. Due to the noise and vibration of the equipment in the forging workshop during operation, the workplace is noisy, affecting people’s hearing and nervous system, distracting attention, thus increasing the possibility of accidents.

The induction heating furnace in the forging workshop is more about safety. As the saying goes: go to work safely and come home happily
