The equipment used for induction heating of blanks mainly consists of the following parts.

1. Power

When high-frequency induction heating is used, a high-frequency generator is used to provide high-frequency current; for medium-frequency induction heating, it is powered by a thyristor inverter device and an intermediate-frequency generator, but the intermediate-frequency generator is not used because of its low efficiency and high noise. . Since both high-frequency and intermediate-frequency power supplies have complete sets of equipment on the market, including variable frequency equipment, capacitor banks, cooling water systems and control operation parts, you only need to select them according to the required power and current frequency.

Power frequency induction heating is generally powered by a dedicated transformer. When the power supply voltage provided by the factory fluctuates greatly and the temperature of the blank heating is strict, a voltage stabilizer must be used to stabilize the supply voltage. When the power supply in the production workshop has a large capacity, it can also be powered by the workshop power supply. The size of the power supply capacity is designed and selected according to the power calculated by the process requirements and the selected voltage. When the power frequency sensor is single-phase and the power is still large, the power frequency power supply must also have a three-phase balancer to balance the load of the three-phase power supply.

2. Induction heating furnace

The induction heating furnace is designed and manufactured according to the process requirements. Choose a good furnace type according to the shape and size of the blank to facilitate loading and unloading.

The induction heating furnace is composed of an inductor, a feeding and discharging mechanism, a furnace frame, and a cooling water system. The inductor is the core part of the induction heating furnace. According to the heating temperature and productivity of the blank, the electrical parameters of the inductor are calculated, the power required for heating and the selected voltage are determined, and the geometric size and number of turns of the induction coil are determined. The sensor is installed on the furnace frame and should be easy to load, unload and maintain. The feeding and discharging mechanism can be driven manually, electrically, pneumatically or hydraulically, depending on the specific conditions. The cooling water system includes two parts: inlet water and return water, which are installed on the furnace frame as a whole.

3. Control and operating system

Such as the tempo control during feeding, the monitoring of the cooling water temperature, the measurement of the temperature of the heated blank, and the protection of electricity safety.
