Outstanding performance of induction melting furnace
The frequency of the power supply used by the induktions smältugn is in the range of 150-10000Hz, and its common frequency is 150-2500Hz. The induction melting furnace is now widely used in the production of steel and other non-ferrous alloys, and is also widely used in the foundry industry.
Take the induction melting furnace as an example. Since the Swiss BBC company successfully developed the first thyristor intermediate frequency power supply for induction melting in 1966, major industrial countries have successively introduced this product, which soon replaced the traditional intermediate frequency electric-generator set. Because the thyristor intermediate frequency power supply has high efficiency, short manufacturing cycle, simple installation, and easy automatic control, its application range covers various industrial production fields such as smelting, diathermy, quenching, sintering, and brazing. At present, there have been important breakthroughs in the technical level and equipment level of the international induction melting furnace, mainly as follows:
The furnace capacity is from small to large, the highest melting furnace can reach 30t, and the holding furnace can reach 40-50t;
The power ranges from small to large, including 1000kW, 5000kW, 8000kW, 10000kW, 12000kW, etc.;
From a power supply to drive an induction melting furnace to develop one to two (one smelting, one heat preservation, series circuit), or even “one to three”;
The induction melting furnace is matched with the out-of-furnace refining of steel or AOD furnace to achieve good results;
Important breakthroughs in the power supply circuit, from three-phase 6-pulse, six-phase 12-pulse to twelve-phase 24-pulse, the reliability of the thyristor circuit is high, and the power supply device can be synchronized with the treatment of high-order harmonics;
The control level is improved, and the PLC system can be more conveniently used to effectively control the electric parameters of the furnace;
The main body and auxiliary equipment are more complete.
